Mr.K, who lives in Kochi Prefecture, connected a commercially available electronic weighing scale to the “MK-141B Voice Generation Kit” and produced a device that converts the weight data output from the electronic weighing scale into a female’s voice.
Some of commercially available electronic weighing scales has a function of outputting the measured weight data as a serial signal.

An 8-bit PIC microcomputer “12F1822” was installed and programmed so that the serial signal (9600 bps) output from the electronic weighing scale can be received by the MK-141B.

With this additional circuit and program, the received data is converted into a special code for generating a female’s voice, and women’s voice is generated by MK-141B.
